With the potential indictment of Donald Trump coming soon—he may have already been indicted by the time you see this video—and other indictments possibly to follow, maybe this marks the beginning of the end of what Donald Trump has wrought onto the world.
When he came down the escalator in 2015 to announce his candidacy for presidency, he opened up a Pandora’s Box of toxicity, hate, and venom that has only continued to fester. He empowered white supremacy, Christian nationalism, and anti-democracy forces both in the US and world.
These elements were already there—they didn’t originate with Trump—but he helped mainstream them.
And so, maybe, just maybe, soon, we’ll be able to say “Bye Bye Baby,” to Trump and all the others of his ilk.
